The top-seeded Stags are in search of their sixth straight conference crown.
Fairfield University will serve as the host for the 2024 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship, May 3-5, on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Ranked #22 nationally, Fairfield Women's Lacrosse has earned the top seed in the MAAC Championship and a bye to the semifinal round. The Stags will meet fifth-seeded Mount St. Mary’s on Friday at noon on ESPN+.
Fairfield brings the nation’s longest winning streak at 15 games into the postseason. The Stags are eyeing their sixth consecutive MAAC Championship and NCAA postseason berth.
At the close of their historic regular season, the Stags earned multiple accolades from the conference. Elizabeth Talluto ’23 was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Year, fellow graduate student Claire Morris was tabbed as MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year, and Head Coach Laura Field was chosen by her peers for the second straight season as MAAC Coach of the Year. In addition, a total of eight Stags earned All-MAAC accolades.
Friday’s second semifinal will feature second-seeded Niagara and third-seeded Siena squaring off the 3 p.m. The 2024 MAAC Championship Game will be played at Rafferty Stadium on Sunday, May 5 at noon.
