Dolan Dean Zhan Li Earns Prestigious Recognition in Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society

Embodying loyalty to the Jesuit mission, Dean Li has received honorary membership in the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society for Jesuit colleges and universities.

Dean of the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Zhan Li, DBA, has been bestowed with the honorary induction into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society for Jesuit colleges and universities.

“I am humbled to be inducted as an honorary member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. This represents one of the greatest honors I have ever received in my professional career. I have spent most of my academic career with Jesuit institutions and thus this means a lot to me,” said Li.

With over 150 nominations, student representatives of Alpha Sigma Nu were asked to nominate a staff member or an individual apart of the University administration. Nominees were required to embody the pillars of scholarship, loyalty to the Jesuit mission, and service, to be considered for Alpha Sigma Nu honorary membership.

Junior class representative, Giovanni Young '25, headed the committee in selecting the honorary members which included Dean Li.

"Dean Li has worked to greatly expand the school and its reputation throughout the country and overseas. His concern for both the success of academic programs and individual students is evident through his leadership. The entire Dolan community has great respect and appreciation for him and his work,” said Young '25.

The committee was given the names of everyone who was nominated and made their selections in collaboration with the Office of Provost who then reviewed the submissions and announced Dean Li as an honorary member.

“For this greatest honor, I must recognize and give credit to Fairfield Dolan’s entire faculty, staff, and students. It is because of the Fairfield Dolan faculty and staff that we have made significant progresses in integrating the Jesuit mission into business education. This honor also inspires me to do more with my team at Fairfield Dolan,” said Li.
