Fairfield University will host a lacrosse doubleheader this Saturday, Feb. 22 on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. Admission is free for all fans as the women’s lacrosse team hosts Hofstra at noon followed by men’s lacrosse challenging Manhattan at 3:30 p.m.
Concessions inside Rafferty Stadium will be available for both games. Fans are advised that Rafferty Stadium is a cashless venue.
Women’s lacrosse returns home following the first win of their season, as the Stags ended Wednesday’s contest at Boston University on a 7-0 run to storm past the Terriers, 13-9. The Stags have qualified for the NCAA postseason in six consecutive seasons, including the first-ever at-large bid to the national tournament in Fairfield or MAAC Women’s Lacrosse history.
The Stags will host Hofstra from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) tomorrow at noon. The Pride is 3-0 this season, including wins over MAAC opponents Manhattan and Marist.
Following a thrilling, double overtime win over Sacred Heart on Wednesday, the Fairfield men’s lacrosse team is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2012. Rob Moore ’25 scored the game-winner for the Stags to stun the crosstown Pioneers.
The Stags will welcome Manhattan to Rafferty Stadium tomorrow for a 3:30 p.m. faceoff. The Jaspers, who met Sacred Heart in the MAAC Championship Game last May, are 2-1 on the 2025 season after a 12-6 loss at Vermont last Saturday.
