Clinton A. Lewis, Jr. ’88 to be Honored with Alumni Professional Achievement Award, March 26

Clinton A. Lewis '88 has appeared on Black Enterprise magazine's "300 Most Powerful Executives" list and Savoy magazine's "Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America."

Lewis, former executive vice president and group president at Zoetis, Inc., will be honored with the Alumni Professional Achievement Award at the 2020 Fairfield Awards Dinner on March 26 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

Since 1988, the annual Fairfield Awards Dinner has been a true celebration of Fairfield and has raised more than $19 million for the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship Fund and other endowed scholarships.

Continuing to recognize professional achievement, outstanding leadership, and volunteer commitment to Fairfield, this year’s Fairfield Awards Dinner will honor Clinton A. Lewis, Jr. ’88.

In his last role as executive vice president and group president responsible for International Operations, Commercial Development and Lifecycle Innovation, Global Genetics, and Aquatic Health and Human Medical Diagnostics, Lewis was responsible for all markets outside the United States for Zoetis, a global animal health company that delivers quality medicines, vaccines, and diagnostic products.

Lewis also oversaw global commercial development and new product strategy at Zoetis, initially part of pharmaceutical corporation Pfizer. Spending 24 years at the company, Lewis began his career at Pfizer after a chance encounter with Charles Dombeck ’71, whom he connected with while an undergraduate biology major at Fairfield. While at Pfizer, Lewis served as the president of U.S. Operations of Pfizer’s animal health division.

Among several distinctions throughout his career, Lewis has appeared on Black Enterprise magazine's list of 300 Most Powerful Executives and Savoy magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America.

Lewis graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received his MBA in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus.
