Both the men's and women's squads were honored for their success in the classroom.

Fairfield University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a part of the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2020 semester.

Men's swimming and diving paced the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and ranked 22nd in the nation with a 3.55 team GPA this past semester. On the women's side, the three-time defending MAAC Champion Stags merited a 3.59 GPA for this most recent term. In total, more than 450 institutions were named to the CSCAA's Scholar All-America team for their grades during the Fall 2020 semester.

Fairfield Swimming and Diving will return to the pool and the classroom in the Spring 2021 semester. As announced last week by the conference, the 2021 MAAC Championship is slated for April 7–10 at Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y.
