Fairfield Dolan is pleased to welcome managing director and partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Stephen Edison ’03 to headline the second Business Analytics Roundtable of the semester on Thursday, February 10 at 7 p.m. Registration is required for this virtual event.

Edison works out of the Dallas office for BCG, a global strategy consulting firm. He specializes in working with organizations in the tech and telecommunication industries to deploy digital technologies, advance analytics, and identify new sources for growth. During the event Edison will share how Fortune 500 Companies are increasingly embracing data and artificial intelligence to deliver differentiated customer experiences, growth, and efficiency.

“Stephen Edison has been a longtime advisor for the Fairfield StartUp program where he shares his expertise in competitive strategy and helps students identify exactly what makes their business idea special,” said Chris Huntley, PhD, associate professor of information systems and operations management who will host Edison for the event. “Now Stephen will talk with us about how analytics plays into his work and the competitive implications of recent technological advances.”  

Prior to BCG Edison worked as vice president in the Alternative Investments Group at Merrill Lynch and was responsible for designing hedge fund-based financial products. He graduated from Fairfield with a bachelor of science in finance and accounting and has his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management where he was recognized with the Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences Department Top Graduating Student Award.
