Fairfield University is hosting a Meet the Stags Night on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. on the Town of Fairfield Sherman Town Green to kick off basketball season.
Fairfield University will host a Meet the Stags Night at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 on the Town of Fairfield Sherman Town Green. Fairfield University Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Cheer and Dance, Pep Band, and Lucas the Stag will be on-hand for basketball competitions, giveaways, refreshments, music, and fun!
Fans of the Stags and Lil' Stags will have the opportunity to meet the 2022-23 Fairfield basketball teams, get autographs from their favorite players, and take pictures with Lucas the Stag.
The event is being held in anticipation of the grand opening of the Leo D. Mahoney Arena and the return of the Red Sea. The Mahoney Arena is scheduled to open on Nov. 18 with a women’s basketball game against Stonehill College. The men’s basketball team will play their first game in the Mahoney Arena on Saturday, December 3 against Saint Peter's.
