Formed of individual singers and performers from England, The Kingdom Choir is a group of like-minded artists dedicated to creating a gospel sound that demonstrates the community they share.

Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is thrilled to welcome The Kingdom Choir on Friday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m., to present a sound that reflects the community they share through their warm energy and enthusiastic performances.

The Kingdom Choir has been performing around the world for more than 20 years. They are best known for their show-stopping performance at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The group's performance of “Stand By Me,” seen by a global audience of over two billion people, instantly catapulted the choir's worldwide fame.

The Kingdom Choir, founded in 1994 by award-winning conductor Karen Gibson, has more than 20 members, and is well-known for its united sound, warm energy, and enthusiastic performances. The group is a sterling example of the unity within the British gospel community.

The Kingdom Choir is supported, in part, by Cindy Raney, Team Digital, and Wealthspire. Tickets are on sale now at quickcenter.com for $30 or $20 for Quick Members. Special event tickets are also on sale for $50, which includes a reception with members of The Kingdom Choir. For more information, contact the Quick Center Box Office at 203-254-4010, Monday through Friday, from 12 to 5 p.m.
