Fairfield students and Bank of America employees

Zachary McLaughlin '24 (center) participated in last year's Job Shadow program with Bank of America, spending a half-day with the banking team in the Stamford office. He met with William Tommins (left) commercial banking executive; Nikolas Totaro '04, (not pictured) Merrill Lynch executive and Fairfield alum, and various relationship managers and credit teammates.

Registration closes next Tuesday, Oct. 3, to help mentor a current junior or senior over winter break.

Through Fairfield’s Job Shadow program, alumni and parents spend a workday (a half day or even lunch) mentoring a current junior or senior over winter break. This is a chance to share how you got started in your profession, provide career advice, and help students begin planning for life after Fairfield. Hosts can choose a virtual or in-person format with one or several students. Alumni (and parent) hosts can select the option that is most convenient:

  • Schedule time for a student to visit your office
  • Set up a video call for an informational session
  • Meet for a conversation over lunch

Please help us to ensure we can match all the students that want to participate in this popular, rewarding program by signing up today at https://jobshadow.fairfield.edu/. Registration closes next Tuesday, Oct. 3. In addition to alumni, parents of current students and friends of the University are invited to participate in Fairfield’s Alumni Job Shadow Program.

Visit fairfield.edu/jobshadow or e-mail careers@fairfield.edu for details about the timeline and suggestions for structuring the day.
