Erin and Austin met during a long weekend when both decided to stay at school instead of returning home. Erin decided to join her roommate Annemarie (Perro) O’Brien ’08 on a night out at Fairfield Beach’s houses. Austin and Erin met at the “Booby Trap” and became instantly attracted. After exchanging phone numbers, Erin was worried because she did not have text messaging service on her phone, a joke amongst most of her friends. Despite getting a “message rejected” response when sending texts to Erin, Austin persisted and decided to call her, the old-fashioned way. The two’s romance grew over the course of house parties, townhouse parties, and they were inseparable during their shared excitement of bad TV series; the rest is history. They married in October 2014, on the 8-year anniversary of their meeting. They now have two baby Stags, Rory, 6 and Finley, 5.
