Fairfield University’s Women’s Volleyball team is excited to host Fairfield Volleyball Youth Day on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena.
The 2023 Defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Champion Stags face off against the Quinnipiac Bobcats in this community event which will promote the strong partnership between the University and Fairfield Public Schools.
Following the collegiate match, the day will feature a competition between the Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlowe Girls’ Volleyball teams at 3:30 p.m., bringing together local students, families, and fans.
“We are proud to partner with Fairfield Public Schools in hosting this special day,” said Fairfield University Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jennifer Anderson. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talent of our local athletes, and underscores the collaborative spirit between the Town of Fairfield and Fairfield University.”
Admission is free and open to the public.
