Screen Time and Study Time: Navigating Devices in Education, Jan. 30

Join us for our January Campus Connect event—an interactive panel discussion considering the behavioral, mental health, educational, and local policy perspectives of cell phone use among youth in today’s landscape.

The panel will be comprised of local Fairfield Public Schools Superintendent Michael Testani; and Fairfield professors Joseph DeLuca, PhD, specializing in clinical psychology, especially mental health in youth; and Joshua Elliott, EdD, associate dean of the School of Education and Human Development, and director of its educational technology program. These three experts will share their perspectives on the challenges school districts like Fairfield can face while addressing this issue. They will also discuss how parents can better prepare their children for life with cell phones and social media, both inside and outside the classroom.
