The AI and Human Difference: Exploring Creativity, Mindfulness, and Inquiry, March 25

Join Philip Maymin, PhD, for a deep dive into the evolving relationship between human and artificial intelligence, exploring what truly sets us apart in creativity, consciousness, and the quest for meaning.

In a world where artificial intelligence is advancing at an unprecedented pace, the question, “What sets humans apart from AI?” is more relevant than ever. Is it creativity? Is it mindfulness? Or is it the ability to ask profound questions?

Dolan School of Business Associate Professor of Analytics, and Master of Science in Business Analytics Program Director Philip Maymin, PhD—will lead a thought-provoking discussion on “The AI and Human Difference: Exploring Creativity, Mindfulness, and Inquiry,” and the fundamental differences between human and artificial intelligence. We will examine the impact of AI on our daily lives, its potential to enhance human capabilities, and the ethical dilemmas surrounding AI consciousness and personhood.

Join us on Tuesday, March 25 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Fairfield University Store located at 1499 Post Road in downtown Fairfield, Conn., for this Campus Connect Series event.
