Our paths crisscrossed over the course of Sophomore and Junior year. We shared a number of classes and had similar friend circles but never connected, or so we thought. It turns out, we each had our eyes out for one another over that time. Truly love at first sight but just took longer to connect. August 1998, the start of our senior year, we were back on campus early as orientation leaders and bumped into each other at Elyse's beach house. We were never apart from that day forward. We married in 2001 and are celebrating 24 amazing years this September. We have two incredible children, including our daughter Callie, Class of 2028. Elyse and I are thrilled to be regularly back on campus. Fr. Kelley was spot on with his infamous welcome speech line, “Look to your left, look to your right... you probably just saw your future spouse”! Go Stags!!!!
