Student Services

Fairfield University occupies a unique, 200-acre campus in southwestern Connecticut with rolling hills, mature landscapes, and coastal views of Long Island Sound. Our campus features multiple athletic fields, housing options that range from traditional residence halls to apartments to townhouses, and 36 modern buildings that provide state-of-the-art technology and resources you'll need to complement your classroom experience. All residences and academic buildings are linked by fiber-optic cable–some with wireless connections– so access to databases and the library's impressive collections are just a click away.

Students are encouraged to step out, step up and access the many career and community opportunities in the thriving urban area. Approximately 140 Fortune 500 firms are headquartered within an hour of campus. Internships, community service and leadership projects all provide invaluable extensions of classroom learning.
