Fairfield University is committed to making sure you get the most out of your graduate experience. The University seeks to foster a sense of community among graduate students, strives to ensure access to resources, and assists with your transition to Fairfield.
Graduate Student Life
Fairfield offers a variety of resources to support students beyond the classroom and department setting.
Getting Started
To ensure your successful transition to Fairfield, the New Graduate Student Checklist has been created to help you keep track of all the forms and tasks you will need to complete before the start of the classes. At least 48 hours prior to accessing the checklist, new-to-Fairfield students need to claim their NetID.
Register and Enroll
Graduate students can register for courses online via the student portal, my.fairfield.
Campus Life
Settling In
As you arrive at Fairfield, students will be required to obtain and carry a StagCard, the University’s official identification card. Additionally, students can register their laptops, desktops, tablets, and/or smartphones to our wireless network as well as participate in the textbook program, Red Stack Direct.
International Students
Global Fairfield is the main resource for international students regarding visa and immigration matters. In addition, the Office of Student Engagement also provides support for international on-boarding, orientation, and student life.
Finding Housing
We understand the task of finding rentals is a challenging one. Fairfield’s off-campus housing hub provides graduate students with information about searching for rentals, finding a roommate, local realtors, and transportation.
