  • Honors*: Challenge yourself academically and connect with like-minded peers.
  • Leadership through Service: Make a difference while developing leadership skills.
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics): Immerse yourself in innovation and discovery.

Each LLC includes a fun and engaging First-Year Experience (FYE) seminar, setting the stage for a successful college journey.

Live Where You Learn

  • Academic and social transition to college
  • High engagement and intentional co-curricular opportunities
  • Purposeful environment where students are welcomed and valued as a community of learners
  • Participate in fun opportunities with peer leaders inside and outside of the classroom

First-year students can apply for any of the First-Year Living and Learning communities when filling out their Housing Application located on the First-Year Checklist.

All First-Year Living and Learning applications will be reviewed and students will be notified if they were selected via their University email account and automatically placed in their assigned community. If students do not meet the eligibility requirements, or the LLC has reached capacity, their housing assignment will be based on the preferences in their general housing application.
