Home is Where You Make It

Fairfield University is a residential campus with approximately 5,000 full-time undergraduate students, living on campus in residence halls, townhouses, and apartment complexes. As a residential campus, life in the halls, townhouses, and apartments is an integral part of a Fairfield undergraduate’s four-year experience.

Residence Halls

We are dedicated to fostering a sense of community, and this begins with where you live. The deepest learning and strongest bonds form when you're in an environment that's not just comfortable, but intellectually and creatively stimulating.

Commuter Students

Students who commute to Fairfield are just as big a part of our community as on-campus residents. If you commute to campus, we'll strive to make you feel at home — even when your home is elsewhere.

Off-Campus Housing

There’s a lot to be excited about in college, but at Fairfield we give you a whole new reason: proximity to the beach. Every year, around 400 seniors move into homes on the beach, close to campus. It’s just one of many unforgettable ways Fairfield turns an education into an experience, and an experience into an education.
