Your Home Away From Home

The Office of Student Engagement is dedicated to supporting and building a vibrant community for both international and domestic students. Our International Student Life program offers a warm welcome to students from around the globe, providing resources and support beyond the classroom. We host events designed to enhance the student experience and offer tailored immigration assistance to ensure our visa-holding students have the support they need to thrive. Whether you're new to campus or continuing your journey, we're here to help you make the most of your time at Fairfield.

Get Involved

You'll find a vibrant community with over 100 clubs and organizations, offering endless opportunities to get involved. Whether you're joining an intramural sport, taking a Broadway trip, enjoying a Fairfield@Night event, or cheering at athletic games, there's always something happening on campus. Signature events like Alumni & Family Weekend and the Presidential Ball make Fairfield an exciting and engaging place to be—there's truly something for everyone!

A Celebration of Culture

The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) collaborates with student organizations, faculty, and campus offices to weave diversity into a wide range of developmental and social programs. Through these efforts, OSE builds meaningful relationships with students, ensuring their needs, interests, and concerns are met. We invite you to explore the hundreds of student clubs, events, and programs at Fairfield University—there’s something for everyone to get involved and thrive!

Diwali

Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, is a celebration that includes food, dancing, and music in celebration of life. At the event, the community participates in a lighting and prayer ceremony, traditional food, and group and solo dance and singing routines.

Holi

Celebrate the arrival of spring with Holi! Similar to a Color Run, wear white and leave in color.

Flavors of Asia

An annual event, the night includes diverse performances, a fashion show, food, henna, as well as dancing and lots of fun!

Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is the one of the most festive holidays of the year. The University celebrates this event with games, photo booths, Chinese calligraphy and performances to bring Asian culture closer to Fairfield students.
