Continuing Education

As of July 2011, certified teachers working in Connecticut's non-public schools are required to complete the equivalent of 6 graduate credits of continuing education every 5 years to maintain their certification. Each semester, the School of Education and Human Development offers a variety of advanced courses in teaching and foundations of education that would meet this continuing education requirement.

Interested teachers should contact the Dean's office by calling (203) 254-4250 to make an appointment to discuss our course offerings.
