Global Fairfield offers an impressive array of international study tracks in business, nursing, arts and sciences, and engineering. Fairfield has tailored visual and performing arts programs, field and laboratory-based science research options, and summer programs.

Study art history, italian, nursing/public health/social work, hospitality management or fashion marketing in Florence; our London locations offers internships for psychology, english, digital studies and communication; business majors focusing on finance and data analytics can study and intern in Sydney; while Aix-en-Provence offers business and humanities students strong coursework, language and internship options; and nursing students can choose from one of our semester programs in Galway or Townsville during their junior year.

Program Length Options


With programs in more than 40 countries, it’s easy to see why more than 45% of Fairfield students study abroad! With proper planning, every student, regardless of major, has the opportunity to study abroad. Our students have studied nursing in Ireland and business in France. Short Term Programs

Global Fairfield offers short-term programs that vary in lengths of time from 10 days during winter or Spring break, to 8 weeks during the summer. These options allows flexibility for all students, especially those who are student athletes, students who are working while attending Fairfield or for those who just aren’t ready to be abroad for an extended period abroad. Students pay an additional program fee for these programs which include credits, housing and onsite programming.

Summer Programs

Summer is a great time to study abroad! Whether you are an athlete who cannot travel during the semester, a homebody unsure about being abroad for a long period of time or just looking to pick up some credits while having an amazing international experience, summer can be the perfect time to study abroad! Fairfield offers a variety of programs in over twenty locations and across a variety of academic disciplines so you are certain to find something perfect for you.

January Intersession Programs

Earn college credits during winter break! This short-term study abroad option is a great option for those who are looking for a shorter length program.
