In the Jesuit tradition of serving urban communities and opening access to education for all, Fairfield Bellarmine offers strong professional preparation and enhanced academic support to low-income and first-generation students in Bridgeport and surrounding Connecticut communities. Grounded in a rigorous liberal arts tradition, Bellarmine students pursue two-year associate’s degrees, following their choice among four academic track options: business, computer science, liberal studies, or health studies. Graduates will be prepared to either pursue further studies toward a bachelor’s degree or embark on a meaningful professional career.

Named after St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J., the patron saint of Fairfield University, this new academic division of Fairfield welcomed its first cohort of talented students to Bellarmine Campus at 460 Mill Hill Ave. in Bridgeport, Conn., during the 2023-24 academic year.
