Dolan Admission

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) or have completed the equivalent coursework prior to beginning the program.

Graduate Assistantships

The Dolan School of Business offers Graduate Assistantships that support the Dean’s Office, Career Development Center, and academic departments. The positions are competitive and there is an interview and application process in the spring semester for the following academic year. Most positions are for the academic year, both fall and spring, requiring 150 hours of work each semester in exchange for a scholarship.

Fairfield Dolan has partnered with both The Hartford and Synchrony, two Fortune 500 companies, for Co-Op programs for graduate students, particularly those interested in business analytics fields. These opportunities immerse Fairfield graduate students in a real-life work environment, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the employees of the companies on projects. The Programs offer flexible in-person and/or remote positions ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, 3 to 6 month engagements.

Depending on how many prerequisite courses are required, the dual degree program can be completed as quickly as in two years of full time study, or even sooner if some courses are taken during summer sessions.

The MBA/MSF dual degree is offered in a hybrid format with a combination of hybrid, online, and in-person courses.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
